What We believe

That the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible Word of God. We believe that the scriptures reveal the mind of God and are able to make men wise unto salvation, through faith and love in Christ Jesus.

That there is only one true God, who is our God, who is eternal, almighty, unchangeable and infinite and believe that He is existent in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – 1 John 5:7.

In the deity of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. That He is the only true King, Priest, and Prophet of the Church. We believe that in the fullness of time, He manifested in the flesh; was born of a virgin; lived a perfectly righteous and sinless life and gave himself for the elect to redeem them to God by his blood and His death upon the cross. We believe in His death, His resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of God the Father in Heaven and His imminent return.

That the universal Church is invisible and consists of all the elect and the visible, Church consists of everyone in the world who professes the Christian faith. Christ is the only head of the Church and has enabled the visible Church to function through the ministry, scriptures, and ordinances of God

On a day appointed by God, Christ will return and God’s righteous judgement will be revealed and all men, both the living and the dead, saved and the lost, the just and unjust will be called to account and will be repaid according to what they have done, good or evil

That all men until quickened by Christ Jesus are dead in their sin and that it is only through repentance and faith in the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ can fallen man be cleansed from sin and reconciled back to God

In the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit to enable believers to live a holy life. We believe that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit can a person be born again and be a child of God.

That justification comes by faith in Jesus Christ alone; and that no man is justified in the sight of God partly by Christ and partly by works.

That all those who have put their trust in Christ Jesus for their salvation, should be careful to maintain good works, and to abound in them, acting from principles of true faith, love for God and man, and looking to God’s glory as their main end.

In water baptism, by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving the gift of salvation, in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In the resurrection of the saved and righteous to eternal life and the resurrection of the unrighteous to eternal damnation.

That marriage is to be between one man and one woman. We believe that the institution of marriage was ordained by God for the mutual help, legitimate propagation, and moral purity of the husband and wife
